Sister Georgie is making her way to a school near you!


The lively and engaging TV character portrayed by the dynamic Apostle Faith is teaming up with the NAACP to bring educational entertainment to students at Graham School in Mount Vernon, New York.


The monthly program, starting on March 27, 2025, will highlight the book, SULWE, by Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o.


The program is designed to greatly benefit students by aiming to:

1. Promote Self-Love: As a self-love advocate, Sister Georgie will inspire students to build positive self-esteem and confidence.

2. Enhance Literacy: Regular reading sessions can improve literacy skills, and comprehension, and foster a love for reading among students.

3. Provide a Role Model: Apostle Dr. Faith Walters, through her character, will act as a positive and relatable role model, potentially motivating students to strive for greater achievements in their personal and academic lives.

4. Increase Engagement: With a charismatic and affectionate character like Sister Georgie, the sessions will be more engaging and enjoyable for students.

5. Build Community: Monthly sessions can create a sense of community and continuity, establishing an anticipated event that students eagerly await.

6. Teach Life Lessons: Through stories and discussions, Sister Georgie will convey important life lessons and values that resonate with the children.
