My Journey
to Inner Strength
To the memory of my late paternal grandmother Sarah Eccleston who was an inspiration in my early
years of life. Your unconditional love has provided a foundation for my growth as a woman.

My Story
“As a young girl, I felt frightened, isolated and unloved. My mother, who herself lacked understanding, would call me 'stupid and dumb' and I became the 'butt of family jokes.' I longed for attention but felt neglected, quickly concluding that I was not wanted.”
“By the age of 11, I harbored resentment towards the God we were forced to accept, fearing a deity I viewed as cruel. Believing my family didn't want me, I decided to raise myself, seeking knowledge outside of religion through books.”
Throughout my journey, I have come to better understand my parents and the brokenness within our family. They mostly didn't know any better, as their parents had also let them down.
I chose to be a different kind of parent and these are the lessons I wish to share. It’s my aim to help parents in overcoming their internalized limitations, so they can have better communication with their children to become productive citizens in society.

My Mission
My mission is to transform these experiences for current and future generations by collaborating with parents to tackle their traumas, which influence their self-acceptance and love, thereby affecting their children. Sister Georgie enables me to utilize drama, music, and storytelling to assist parents in changing for the betterment of their children.
My Method
I will utilize storytelling, drama, speeches, and panel discussions to examine the challenges and issues parents encounter and we will explore potential solutions through workshops, training, and skills development.
